Introduction

Cycle Time Management is designed for all manufacturing personnel from all support function to the manufacturing shopfloor. The main objective of the CTM course is to build on the ability of the manufacturing personnel to response to constantly re-create stability in their production environment. Today, all manufacturing personnel need to know how to re-build workflow, cycle time, workplace layout, man-machine ratio, process work standard, production line balance, re-staffing work cell, re-calculating daily target, deployment of excess labour and assessment of production performance deficiency.

Content
In reality, manufacturing operations are constantly being faced with the urgent need to adapt to short run and high mix production. In this kind of environment, big losses can occur if nothing is done to absorb the high volatility impact of today's fast changing mode of operations. Cycle Time Management helps manufacturing operations by dealing with workflow problems and kaizen issues that arise very frequently on the production shopfloor. The course also covers the implication to Cycle Time objective when machine utilization is high and when set-up time is performed more frequently without shortening the changeover period. Machine and workflow designed cycle time constraints are also discussed in details in most of the session. The course also covers the implication to Cycle Time objective when machine utilization is high and when set-up time is performed more frequently without shortening the changeover period. Machine and workflow designed cycle time constraints are also discussed in details in most of the sessions. On the whole, this is a must attend course for all manufacturing operations to help shape current paradigm thinking on how to reduce manufacturing cycle time. Your operations can add on a lot of non-value-added activities that will slow down your ability to response or you would like to achieve lean agility to succeed in today's tough manufacturing environment.
